Baba Kapoor Singh Ji

Baba Kapoor Singh Ji, son of the late Sant Baba Nahar Singh Ji, succeeded his father as the head of the trust after his passing in 2007. Since then, Baba Kapoor Singh Ji has taken on the responsibilities of overseeing all projects worldwide that were initiated by Sant Baba Nahar Singh Ji. His work includes completing projects in Malaysia and New Zealand and a project planned in Goulburn, NSW.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Baba Kapoor Singh Ji has demonstrated strong dedication to community and religious initiatives. In Punjab, India, he opened a Sangeet (music) academy to teach children Gurbani Kirtan. Around 50 children under the age of 15 receive daily care and education through the Babe Ke Trust – India and learn kirtan at the academy.

Baba Kapoor Singh Ji has also organized marriages for young men and women from economically weaker families across Punjab. The Asthan Babe Ke Trust India has been helping these couples start their lives by providing furniture, clothes, sewing machines, groceries, and other essentials. The trust has organized mass marriages for the past five years.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Baba Kapoor Singh Ji and the trust provided food, clothes, and medicine to those in need for around six months. Additionally, Babe Ke “Helping Hand,” a society under the trust, assists people affected by natural disasters like floods and droughts.

Baba Ji has a deep passion for the environment and emphasizes reducing carbon emissions. The Asthan Babe Ke Trust, under his guidance, planted 80 new maple trees on the Goulburn farm in April 2024. His current priority is to accelerate the progress of the Goulburn, NSW project to help the younger generation understand the teachings of the Gurus and the principles of selflessness and humility.

Our principles

We showcase the lives and teachings of Sikh Gurus, highlighting their interactions with people of various faiths to foster understanding and build relationships among diverse communities. By developing worldwide projects, we aim to preserve and share Sikh history and culture through landscaped parks and educational displays. These initiatives create spaces where people can learn about the rich legacy of Sikhism, promoting harmony and mutual respect. Our efforts contribute to a greater appreciation of Sikh traditions, bridging gaps between communities and encouraging a deeper connection with the values taught by the Sikh Gurus.
